Timing Belts
If the mileage on your vehicle is between 90,000 and 110,000 miles, it’s recommended that you replace your timing belt to avoid failure and more expensive repairs.
Timing belts have less stretch, which makes them more accurate. They are durable and reliable but eventually will need to be replaced. You can also expect to replace all the components related to the timing belt arrangement, including the water pump, tensioners and idler pulleys. These components are the primary reason for failure, not the timing belt itself.
